We are looking for a Senior Content Specialist. As a senior content specialist, you will own SerpApi's brand voice and messaging consistency, which may include writing and editing press materials, blog content, and marketing materials.

Responsibilities

  • Own brand voice and messaging consistency
  • Write and edit press materials, blog content, and marketing materials
  • Ghostwrite for executives (e.g., CEO, senior leadership team)
  • Edit internal and external content across teams (e.g., blog posts, slide decks, etc.)
  • Develop thought leadership and contributed content (e.g. editorial articles, responses to media requests, etc.)
  • Optimize content in line with SEO best practices
  • Create and manage editorial calendars
  • Use analytics tools to monitor content traffic, engagement, leads, and conversions after content is published
  • Identify gaps and opportunities in content
  • Perform content audits and keep a detailed and up-to-date inventory
  • Collaborate across all teams to capture content ideas
  • Produce white papers for industry events
  • 10–20 years of experience preferred
  • Strong technical/industry background (tech/SaaS preferred)
  • Editorial experience (e.g., tech publications) strongly preferred
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop a clear and compelling strategy for inspiring and engaging the audience.
  • Must also have strong editing and proofreading skills, as well as the ability to adapt the content style, tone, and format to suit different channels and platforms.
