Position Overview:
We’re seeking a strategic, creative, and technically proficient Senior Consumer Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead personalized, data-driven engagement strategies that nurture and retain members across their health journey. You’ll develop and manage timely, relevant communications that educate, motivate, and engage our audience to take the next step in understanding their health or participating in research.
You’ll own full-cycle campaign development, working with cross-functional teams to build journeys that reflect user behavior, health interests, and readiness. If you’re passionate about health access and performance-driven storytelling, this role is for you.
What You'll Be Working On (Duties Include but Not Limited to):
- Lead the strategy, development, and execution of lifecycle marketing programs — from onboarding to relationship development and advocacy
- Create segmented, automated campaigns across the customer journey using Customer.io
- Deliver compelling, mission-aligned messaging across email, SMS, and in-app channels that are personalized based on member behavior, health status, and research readiness
- Manage a monthly email newsletter that informs, inspires, and connects members to ongoing benefits and research opportunities
- Use tools like Segment and Google Analytics to guide segmentation, monitor engagement, and refine audience targeting
- Define KPIs and lead ongoing A/B testing and performance optimization of subject lines, content, timing, and creative
- Work cross-functionally with content development, clinical operations, and data teams to ensure alignment on messaging and timing
- Maintain brand voice and health literacy standards in all messaging
- Stay informed on email deliverability best practices, marketing regulations, and platform capabilities
What You Bring (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- 5–7 years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or email marketing, ideally within healthcare, clinical research, digital health or wellness
- Hands-on experience with Customer.io, HubSpot, Salesforce or other automation platforms
- Strong command of audience segmentation, event-based triggers, and journey mapping
- Excellent copywriting and content strategy skills with the ability to craft messages that are clear, warm, and effective
- Skilled in campaign analytics –interpret dashboards, share insights, and make data-informed decisions
- Working knowledge of email deliverability, list hygiene, and domain authentication
- Experience managing cross-functional collaborators, including creative and compliance stakeholders
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving, highly collaborative environment
- Familiarity with regulated communications and ethical marketing standards (e.g., IRB, HIPAA, CAN-SPAM, opt-in flows)
Physical/Travel Requirements
- This role requires 100% of work to be performed in a remote office environment and requires the ability to use keyboards and other computer equipment.
- This is a remote position with less than 10% travel requirements. Occasional planned travel may be required as part of the role.
