THE ROLE

We are in search of a Senior Consultant - Technology Training to champion the use and proficiency of technology platforms within our global distribution organization. The ideal candidate will add input and help shape the technology training strategy and work in close partnership with the Sales Enablement team to ensure seamless integration of technology training with broader sales training initiatives. Additionally, the ability to customize training methods to suit the specific nuances of various roles and regions within the global distribution organization will contribute significantly to the impact of this role.

This role will be responsible for onboarding new employees, ensuring they master the tech platforms that are integral to our sales enablement strategy, enabling them to perform their roles efficiently, effectively, and with significant impact. Additionally, the role will lead ongoing training and communication efforts related to new features, updates, and best practices. In partnership with Sales Enablement, they will also serve as the point person for our user adoption strategy, working with both the internal support teams and Sales Enablement to identify and address training gaps that impact productivity.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Technology Training & Adoption

  • Develop and deliver training programs for Salesforce, Tableau, Seismic, and other sales tools to ensure optimal usage by the sales team.

  • Lead technology-focused onboarding sessions for new hires to guarantee a smooth transition into their roles.

  • Create and maintain training materials, including documentation, videos, and interactive learning modules.

  • Provide ongoing training and refresher courses for existing employees as new features or updates are released.

  • Track and measure user adoption and proficiency, identifying areas for improvement.

 

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with the Sales Enablement team to integrate technology training with broader sales training initiatives.

  • Work closely with agile development teams to stay informed about new platform features and translate those updates into effective training and communication plans.

  • Collaborate with user support teams to identify common issues that could be addressed through additional training or resources.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technology adoption strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals.

 

Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Gather feedback from sales team members to continuously refine training programs.

  • Offering immediate assistance with day-to-day challenges

  • Maintain a repository of self-service training materials and FAQs to support ongoing learning.

  • Monitor usage trends and work with stakeholders to drive engagement with underutilized tools.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 6-8+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce, Tableau, Seismic, and other sales technology platforms (certifications a plus).
  • Experience developing and delivering technology training programs, both in-person and virtually.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, actionable training for non-technical users.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering training to diverse audiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to partner across departments.
  • Experience tracking training effectiveness and measuring user adoption.

PREFERRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience in training, sales operations, sales enablement, or a related role.
