We are hiring a Senior Consultant to deliver end-to-end data and AI solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, with a primary focus on Microsoft Fabric. This role is a senior individual contributor operating at an architect-adjacent level, responsible for independently leading client engagements from discovery through production deployment.
This individual will combine deep technical expertise with strong consulting acumen to deliver high-quality outcomes across workshops, assessments, platform implementations, and migrations. After onboarding into our delivery methodology, this role is expected to execute with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently lead and deliver billable client engagements (target: ~40 hrs/week)
- Execute Atmosera delivery frameworks, including:
- Data Workshops (visioning, requirements, stakeholder alignment)
- Assessments & Blueprinting (current state analysis, target architecture, roadmap)
- Fabric Foundations (platform setup, governance, baseline architecture)
- Production deployments and migrations
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and performant data solutions in Microsoft Fabric
- Own technical architecture decisions
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Identify risks, tradeoffs, and optimization opportunities during delivery
- Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Fabric-native tooling
- Develop and tune Spark-based workloads (batch and/or streaming)
- Architect medallion/lakehouse patterns within Fabric
- Implement data modeling, transformation, and orchestration strategies
- Ensure alignment with Azure Well-Architected and data platform best practices
- Facilitate workshops and guide clients through ambiguous problem spaces
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Influence client decisions through structured recommendations
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and delivery quality
Required Skills & Experience
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric (end-to-end platform capabilities)
- Strong experience with Azure Data Factory
- Advanced proficiency in Apache Spark (PySpark/Scala preferred)
- Experience designing modern data architectures (lakehouse, medallion, ELT/ETL patterns)
- Strong understanding of Azure data services and ecosystem integration
- Proven ability to independently deliver consulting engagements
- Strong client-facing communication and facilitation skills
- Experience leading workshops, assessments, and architecture design sessions
- Ability to operate with minimal oversight after onboarding
