Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well market and business considerations: Summary Pay Range: $200,000-$240,000.
This position is currently part of Boeing but is planned to transition to an independent company owned by Thoma Bravo, as part of a pending divestiture of the Digital Aviation Solutions organization. If you are selected for this role, your employment may initially be with Boeing (dependent on start date). Subject to final regulatory approvals and closing conditions, your employment may transfer to the divested business owned by Thoma Bravo at close. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with airline clients and internal data science teams to solve complex analytical challenges
- Lead structured value engineering projects that diagnose airline operational performance and identify high-impact improvement opportunities
- Develop detailed business cases quantifying benefits, costs, and risks aligned with airline KPIs
- Develop actionable recommendations and implementation roadmaps to optimize flight operations and enhance regulatory compliance
- Support new business development through research publications, conference presentations, and proposal development
- Help refine and scale consulting tools, playbooks, and operational intelligence dashboards
- Maintain a customer-obsessed mindset while bringing a strong point of view and intellectual curiosity
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm, ideally with a focus on aviation or transportation industries
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and demonstrated statistical analysis capabilities
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical teams and senior executives
- Experience working directly with clients or senior stakeholders
- Ability to lead projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative, curious, and driven by delivering measurable business outcomes
- Ability to travel 25-50%, depending on client engagements
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent work experience
- Exposure to operational improvement, performance management, or value engineering projects
- Pilot or aviation enthusiast
- Familiarity with Jeppesen, ForeFlight, or Boeing products and services
- Flexible location preferred in Denver, Colorado
