The HubSpot Customer Insights (CI) team is looking for a senior competitive analyst to join our quickly growing organization. In this role, you will report into Product Marketing, and work with a team of competitive analysts to drive competitive enablement and strategy. You will lead the charge in building a competitive value selling strategy that supports sales, marketing, and leadership. This means you will build an advanced foundational understanding of how HubSpot differentiates against our key competitors in AI, credits, and general pricing and packaging.You will also produce iterative content that helps our sales succeed in the field.The role also requires deep collaboration with key internal stakeholders, working cross-functionally with brand, product, product marketing, strategy, sales, customer service, and sales enablement.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis and research to support marketing, sales, and strategy initiatives
  • Analyze competitor AI go-to-market strategies, pricing and packaging and positioning
  • Identify new market opportunities and understand key customer needs and trends
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of HubSpot’s AI & pricing and packaging strategy
  • Monitor industry trends and analyze their impact on HubSpot’s business
  • Present your findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders
  • Create sales & buyer enablement content to communicate HubSpot’s differentiation
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What you should have:

  • Industry experience in Enterprise SaaS companies, solutions consultant, strategy analyst or enablement role
  • Experience in competitive intelligence
  • Outstanding ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Experience engaging directly with enterprise customers and partners
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and research skills
  • Experience with CRM, AI, Sales, Service, or Marketing SaaS tools
  • An advanced understanding of AI prompting & research (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity)

Pay & Benefits

The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are tailored to your skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

Annual Cash Compensation Range:
$144,000$216,000 USD
