To support this mission, we are seeking a Senior Category Manager, Gift Cards in our Bellevue, WA or Plantation, FL offices to grow and expand of the Gift Care program. Reporting to the Director of Payments, Fraud, and Gift Cards, this leader will be responsible for strategy, performance, and partner ecosystem of our gift card offerings. You will play a pivotal role in driving internal adoption, growing external distribution, and identify new ways to leverage gift cards to attract, reward, and retain customers.
What You'll Do:
  • Be responsible for the business strategy and growth of the program, with a focus on both internal adoption and external distribution.
  • Analyze performance trends and drive data-driven marketing and promotional campaigns to drive gift card purchases and redemptions.
  • Build and lead B2B distribution partnerships and find opportunities for external expansion.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, product, CX, marketing, and analytics to deliver outstanding customer experiences around gifting and redemption.
  • Work closely with finance to develop forecasts, handle budgets, and ensure financial performance of program.
  • Identify and champion innovative use cases for gift cards across the Chewy ecosystem (e.g., customer acquisition, loyalty and rewards, new pet parent engagement)
  • Serve as the go-to team member for program, including running third-party vendors and optimizing program capabilities.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in category management, payments, loyalty, or digital retail, preferably with direct experience in gift card or stored value programs.
  • Leading and scaling partner driven programs with measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to derive insights from data and act on them.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and influence skills across cross functional Team Members groups.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment, supported by strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with third-party gift card platforms, aggregators, or distribution networks is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time as needed.

Work Arrangement:
  • Hybrid Model: 3 days in hub location per week
  • Remote: This role is NOT a remote role.
