What You'll Do:
- Partner with leadership to develop long-range business strategies and annual operating plans for Private Brands in the consumables category.
- Own and analyze key business performance metrics such as sales, GM, ASP, CPU, and assortment penetration. Use insights to inform and optimize portfolio decisions.
- Drive forecasting, scenario planning, and financial modeling in partnership with Finance, using business and consumer insights to guide portfolio performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Brand Management, Category Management, Site Merchandising, Marketing, R&D) to execute launch plans and performance improvement initiatives across evergreen and seasonal assortments.
- Identify underperformance across product, pricing, and customer funnel metrics; drive strategies to optimize performance.
- Create and manage business review materials, dashboards, and deep-dive analyses to guide portfolio decisions and leadership alignment.
- Support go-to-market strategy planning, including site merchandising, pricing strategy, and promotional input.
- Develop and mentor junior team members and foster cross-functional alignment around Private Brand strategic goals.
What You'll Need:
- 6-8+ years of experience in product management, business planning, strategy, category management, or similar functions at a leading retailer or CPG company.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, modeling); SQL or other analytical tools a plus.
- Demonstrated experience developing business strategies and turning data into actionable insights.
- Experience operating in or partnering with cross-functional teams across finance, marketing, merchandising, supply chain, and analytics.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to synthesize insights for senior audiences.
- Track record of driving performance and influencing decision-making in a matrixed, high-growth environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

- Experience in e-commerce or consumer product private brands.
- Familiarity with site analytics, funnel performance metrics, and digital retail execution.
- Passion for pets and improving the customer experience in pet care.
