What You’ll Do:
As a Business Intelligence Analyst at Appex, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our portfolio of mobile apps to new heights. You'll harness your strong SQL skills and expertise in ad-hoc data digging (using SQL, R, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, Excel, etc.) to unearth actionable insights. Proficiency in at least one popular BI tool (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, Redash) is essential. You'll understand what data is crucial for strategic decision-making versus day-to-day operations, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
What You’ll be Working On:
Utilize robust SQL skills and proficiency in data tools to conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key metrics and deliver actionable insights.
Serve as a critical partner to the CEO and CFO by supporting their daily data needs and requests, providing thorough analysis for our portfolio of mobile apps.
Deliver clean, well-presented data and strategic insights to drive revenue growth across all apps.
Identify and communicate trends in app performance and user engagement, translating findings into actionable strategies.
Develop and maintain compelling dashboards and visualizations to track KPIs, monitor app health and ensure data accuracy.
Apply knowledge of Data Engineering (DBT, Fivetran, ELT) to streamline data pipelines and ensure data integrity.
Contribute to data-driven strategies to optimize user acquisition, retention, and monetization.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
Experience in ad-hoc data analysis using tools like R, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel.
Proficiency in at least one popular BI tool (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, Redash, etc.).
Ability to differentiate between strategic data insights and operational data needs.
Familiarity with Data Engineering concepts (DBT, Fivetran, ELT) is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with a knack for translating data into actionable insights.
