Business Intelligence Associate

Drizly is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing Analytics team. This person will be responsible for working with business owners of Product, Engineering, Merchandising, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, & Operations to make decisions using data and analytics. This role will be responsible for helping each team automate their reporting dashboards and will be responsible for ad hoc reporting, and building Drizly’s next generation of BI capabilities. A successful candidate will have strong business and technical acumen, as well as great problem solving, communication, and mentoring skills. Prior experience in BI is a must.

Responsibilities:

· Partnering with internal leadership across Product, Engineering, Merchandising, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, & Operations to help set an agenda for the BI platform and work with your internal team to drive to completion

· Prioritization and project management of team activities while proactively identifying areas in which analytics efforts can produce a strong value add

· Creating and guiding Drizly’s web analytics visualization strategy (currently using Google Analytics and Domo)

· Build automated reporting and tools to provide insights into our customers and business

· Optimize the production of data for our retail customers to drive efficiency within their businesses

· Leading ad-hoc reporting and support

· Aiding in architecting data structures and reports in a MPP environment

· Working with several large and complex MySQL, and Redshift databases

Qualifications:

· 2-3 years of total experience in a business intelligence, data science or engineering role with mentorship experience preferred

· Experience with OLAP technologies, SQL, and related BI software (SSAS, Microstrategy, Cognos, Tableau, Domo, etc.)

· Positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude

· Analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving problems

· Strong written and verbal communication

· Entrepreneurial spirit

· Experience with Python, Javascript a plus
