The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) focused on the enterprise market, playing a pivotal role in fueling growth by identifying and engaging strategic accounts. Your role will be to develop new business opportunities by contacting and building relationships with potential customers. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in developing leads from marketing campaigns. You will use your communication skills to establish strong relationships with our future customers. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.

This role offers an hybrid position with three days a week in our local Boston office.


Your Mission:

  • Drive top-of-funnel pipeline growth for the enterprise sales team through targeted outbound prospecting (calls, emails, social outreach, events)
  • Research, identify, and map enterprise accounts to identify key stakeholders and potential opportunities
  • Leverage AI deeply, for bespoke research on accounts for outreach and follow up, tailored for their business challenges/pain and focused on these issues 1st, and how we may potentially solve them
  • Present our company to potential clients, effectively engage with C-level executives, VP’s and Directors across IT, Digital, and Commerce functions
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Qualify and nurture inbound leads, aligning business needs to our value proposition
  • Collaborate with Marketing to tailor campaigns, messaging, and events for strategic accounts
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate account data, activity, and opportunity progress within Salesforce
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly activity and qualified opportunity goals
  • Stay current on company new products/services, pricing/payment plans, enterprise commerce trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technology

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or Business Administration (or similar) or relevant field experience
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative or Sales Development Representative or client facing role (Enterprise or SaaS preferred)
  • Familiarity with AI sales tools and how they can drive efficiency in pipeline generation
  • Understanding of AI applications in commerce (personalization, predictive analytics, customer insights, automation preferred) 
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques
  • Track record of successfully engaging with prospects
  • Experience with Marketing Automation and CRM software (e.g. Hubspot and Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong business acumen and ability to link technology solutions to enterprise challenges 
  • Driven, resourceful, and resilient in achieving goals 
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
