Grow Therapy is on a mission to serve as the trusted partner for therapists growing their practice, and patients accessing high-quality care. Powered by technology, we are a three-sided marketplace that empowers providers, augments insurance payors, and serves patients. Following the mass increase in depression and anxiety, the need for accessibility is more important than ever. To make our vision for mental healthcare a reality, we’re building a team of entrepreneurs and mission-driven go-getters. Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised more than $328Mm in funding, including our Series D, at a $3B valuation from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, Menlo Ventures, Goldman Sachs Alternatives, and others.

We’re looking for a Senior Business Data Analyst, Business Analytics to play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will partner with business leaders to scope, design, and build the appropriate analytical tools and metrics to answer strategic and operational questions. This will include defining and operationalizing key performance indicators (KPIs), uncovering insights through rigorous analysis, developing scalable dashboards and reporting frameworks, and ultimately translating data into business value. Success in this role is measured by the impact of insights on strategic and operational decisions, clarity of metrics delivered, and measurable improvements in business outcomes such as growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Elicit and synthesize data-driven insights into clear narratives and recommendations that influence decision-making, including recurring business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and ad hoc deep dives.

  • Enable business leaders to make data-driven decisions by translating their business needs into the appropriate analytical tools and metrics to answer strategic and operational questions such as identifying growth levers, diagnosing performance gaps, or evaluating initiative impact.

  • Scope, design, build, and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and data models to enable self-service access to key metrics and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across teams.

  • Use AI tools to accelerate your workflow and increase the quality of your output via querying, modeling, and synthesizing findings. You validate AI-assisted work rather than taking it at face value, and you build with scalability in mind so your solutions hold up as reliable, reusable processes.

You’ll be a good fit if you are:

  • A Problem Solver: You have 3+ years of experience in BI or data analytics at a high-growth tech startup. You’re able to identify business challenges based on metrics and analyses, and you’re ready to recommend solutions to improve business processes. You balance analysis with decisive execution to avoid “analysis paralysis.”

    • Strong bonus: Experience solving data problems in a healthcare-related field (e.g., RCM, provider operations, value-based care, health tech SaaS).

  • A data-driven decision maker: You have expert-level SQL skills and are familiar with tools like Snowflake, DBT, Looker, Hex, and Retool. You spend most of your day building critical analyses and data visualizations to elicit data-driven insights. You use metrics and analyses to uncover insights, validate hypotheses, and guide operational decisions. You are able to dive deep to understand the full scope of data, including edge cases.

  • AI-native: AI tools are part of how you naturally work day-to-day. You default to using AI to speed up querying, drafting, and synthesis, and you know when to lean on it versus when deeper manual analysis is warranted. You stay current on new tools and techniques and bring that thinking back to how the team works.

  • An effective communicator: You are adept at translating complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You are comfortable presenting to executives, business leaders, engineers, PMs, and peers. You are expert at crafting compelling data stories through visualizations.

  • Mission-Driven: You’re here to change the world, and you’re always connecting your work back to the importance of the Grow Therapy mission.

  • Agile: You thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment, and you’re able to pivot as new priorities emerge. You are skilled at managing multiple stakeholders, projects, and timelines efficiently.

  • A Team Player: You’re collaborative by nature, relish in camaraderie and group wins, and are looked to by your colleagues as a steadfast partner and source of encouragement.

Employment Type: Full Time, Exempt (or Non-Exempt)
Base Compensation: The base compensation range for this position is $124,000–$139,000 USD Annually.
This is a hybrid role with the expectation to work onsite from our NYC hub location three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and travel 2–3 times per year (e.g., company and department offsites).
The base compensation for this role will vary depending on several factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, and the candidate’s working location.

Full Time Employee Benefits:

  • Health Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage.

  • Grow for Grow: No cost access to therapy through the Grow platform (available to US employees)

  • Financial Wellness: Retirement savings programs and equity opportunities to help you invest in your future.

  • Flexible Time Off, Paid Holidays & Winter Break: Flexible time off, company paid holidays (which vary by country), and a full company wide Winter Break to rest and recharge

  • Parental Leave: Up to 18 weeks of paid parental leave to support you and your growing family and a new child stipend.

  • Mental Health Mornings/Afternoons: Dedicated weekly flexible time for self care, whether that's therapy, exercise, journaling, time with family, or simply taking a break.

  • Wellness & Development Stipend: Annual stipend to support your personal wellbeing and professional growth, from fitness and education to books and learning resources.

  • Commuter Benefits: Pre tax commuter benefits to support teammates working from one of our hub locations.

  • Home Office & Meals: Support for your home workspace plus meal benefits, with offerings tailored to both remote and hub based employees.

  • Additional Perks: A variety of wellbeing benefits, including wellness memberships, virtual care, pet insurance discounts (where available), and global travel assistance.
