The Senior Business Analyst will drive growth by leveraging data to enhance member experiences through insights, experimentation, and reporting, collaborating closely with the Growth Product team.

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to partner closely with the Growth Product team to drive data-driven decisions aimed at acquiring, engaging, and retaining our member base. This role focuses on leveraging data to fuel growth, combining deep analytics with strategic foresight to enhance the member journey. By identifying actionable insights and scaling new opportunities, you’ll play a vital role in shaping how WHOOP members experience and benefit from our platform.
This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office. 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Data-Driven Growth Analysis: Develop and maintain analytics frameworks to measure how engagement strategies impact member acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
- Strategic Partnership with Growth Product: Collaborate directly with the Growth Product team to analyze member behavior, derive actionable insights, and recommend strategies to optimize engagement and retention.
- Customer Journey Insights: Analyze member interactions throughout their lifecycle, identifying key touchpoints where engagement improvements can drive growth.
- Testing & Experimentation: Design and analyze experiments (e.g., A/B testing) to assess the efficacy of engagement-focused initiatives and inform product roadmap decisions.
- Data Integration: Ensure seamless integration of data from various systems to provide a unified and accurate view of member engagement metrics.
- Proactive Insights: Generate forward-looking recommendations to unlock new growth opportunities, presenting findings and actionable strategies to leadership and the Growth Product team.
- Reporting & Communication: Build intuitive dashboards and reports to track key engagement metrics, providing the Growth Product team with real-time insights to inform decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in a deeply analytical role, preferably within a growth or product-focused environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong track record delivering value in an analytics organization - preferably in a direct-to-consumer or e-commerce environment.
- Have a creative approach to problem-solving - demonstrated ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights and effectively communicate them to stakeholders.
- Self-starting, fast-moving, and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Strong technical and analytical skills; SQL skills required, Python experience a plus.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools.

At WHOOP, we view total compensation as the combination of base salary, equity, and benefits, with equity serving as a key differentiator that aligns our employees with the long-term success of the company and allows every member of our corporate team to own part of WHOOP and share in the company’s long-term growth and success.
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 - $155,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training. 
In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.
These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
