We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to serve as the indispensable primary bridge between our Federal Division and Corporate IT. This is a mission-critical role: you won't just gather requirements; you will be the driving force behind the planning, execution, and governance of all major systems initiatives (CRM, F&O, etc.), ensuring every solution delivers maximum operational efficiency while maintaining flawless federal compliance.

How you will contribute mightily to the Phillips Mission:

You will be responsible for translating complex Federal Division business needs into robust, secure, and compliant system solutions.

  • Federal Compliance Pioneer: Ensure system design and execution strictly adhere to all federal requirements, including DFARS, FAR, CMMC, and CAS. Embed best practices for data protection, security, and audit-readiness into every initiative.
  • The IT Bridge & Strategist: Serve as the primary liaison between the Federal Division and Corporate IT, ensuring seamless communication, aligned priorities, and timely resolution of issues across all information systems initiatives.
  • Automation & Visibility Champion: Achieve breakthrough productivity gains by harnessing the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). Deploy low-code solutions to eliminate manual inefficiencies and deliver real-time dashboards and advanced analytics to Federal leadership.
  • Project Governance Leader: Lead the planning and execution of enterprise-level systems projects (like CRM and F&O), overseeing scope, schedules, resources, and risk management with structured project governance to ensure predictable outcomes and measurable ROI.
  • Change Adoption Driver: Spearhead change management and adoption efforts, developing targeted training and communication plans to ensure all users fully embrace and leverage new systems and tools for maximum efficiency.

What you will need to become the next Phillips virtuoso!

This role requires a rare blend of deep technical skill, strategic project leadership, and a profound understanding of the federal contracting landscape.

  • Experience Profile: 10+ years of related experience, with significant experience supporting federal government contracting organizations.
  • Federal Compliance Expertise: Deep, practical knowledge of DFARS, FAR, CAS, and CMMC standards, and experience integrating these requirements into business systems.
  • Enterprise Systems Leadership: Demonstrated success leading large-scale system initiatives (CRM, ERP, F&O, or similar), ensuring alignment with unique government contracting and sales requirements.
  • Microsoft Technology Mastery: Expertise with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) for workflow automation and real-time analytics. Proficiency with Dynamics 365 CRM and F&O is essential.
  • Project Governance: Strong background in structured project management, scope definition, resource management, and transparent risk reporting.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Exceptional ability to work effectively across corporate IT, division leadership, sales teams, and external consultants.

The expected pay range for a qualified person in this role is between $145,000.00 and $165,000.00 per year. If you have a different suggestion, please mention it in your application.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
