You will define data governance plans and execution strategies, assess AI implementation readiness, design and implement governance tools and workflows, and actively shape standards for data quality, stewardship, and interoperability across enterprise systems. In this role, you will lead cross-functional project teams, manage scope and technical approaches, and serve as a primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive sponsors. You will bridge technical execution with strategic planning by aligning governance practices with program priorities, mentoring analysts, and ensuring that data, systems, and processes evolve in a coherent and sustainable way.
What You'll Do:
- Leads requirements gathering and system analysis for enterprise projects.
- Defines project scope, technical approach, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Manages cross-functional projects involving multiple teams and vendors.
- Mentors junior analysts and promotes best practices in business analysis.
- Evaluates and recommends technology solutions aligned with business goals.
- Ensures compliance with IT regulations and data security standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field and 5 years of relevant experience, or
- Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field and 4 years of relevant experience, or
- In lieu of education, 9 years of relevant experience
What You'll Bring:
- Advanced knowledge of data governance practices, including data stewardship, data quality, metadata management, and data lifecycle management within complex, multi-system environments
- Advanced knowledge of process modeling and stakeholder engagement, system integration, and diagnostics
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose organizational, process, and technical barriers to effective data use and recommend practical governance solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional engagement.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize, and drive clarity in complex data environments.
- Experience with Agile delivery and business process improvement.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on improving data trust, consistency, and governance maturity.
What We Prefer:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional engagement.
- Certification in data governance, data management, or business analytics
- Experience with enterprise data governance platforms (e.g. Microsoft Purview, Collibra, or similar)
- Master’s degree in Business Analysis, Data Management, Information Technology, or related field
