Global Brand Management builds and executes comprehensive global brand strategies aligned to achieve organizational brand growth goals. This function is laser focused by brand and aligned by category/trade to identify, understand and drive end-user messaging and build equity strategies that will be relevant, creative and compelling. Global Brand Management will create brand positioning, brand fundamentals and brand equity creative & messaging. The Brand’s Category Marketing function will develop key global category, product messaging and marketing playbooks for NPD. The Global Brand Management teams will also influence product and category decisions, brand visual design language and brand digital master creative and architecture. This team will ensure regional activation teams, licensing partners and other organizational stakeholders are executing in a manner supporting the Global Brand Equity. 

The Job:  

In this role, you will be responsible for leading strategy and execution plans our Black and Decker And Brand Portfolio Management businesses for key project or product categories. As a key business partner, this person works closely with their cross-functional counterparts to prioritize the big initiatives, create flawless commercialization plans and have a laser focus on what our end user needs to drive demand. 

The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for planning, development and execution of comprehensive brand marketing strategy including, but not limited to supporting including product launch planning, product naming and messaging, photography and video and collateral development,  

As a Senior Brand Manager, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team working as a hybrid employee.    You’ll get to:  

  • Support multi-functional team in development of annual marketing plans and implement plans with excellence with guidance from Group Brand Leader. 
  • Leads and manages creative development process and provides strategic guidance to Agency partners. 
  • Works with Insights team to identify end user barriers and drives meaningful marketing communications with high relevance to our target audiences. 
  • Is a steward of the Brand across the organization - leads development and adherence to Brand Guidelines as well as manages brand creative assets (photography, creative, etc.) to provide to multi-functional partners. 
  • Collaborates with Product Development and Channel teams in development of new product innovation and full commercialization plans. 
  • Leads marketing plan execution including photography, digital content development, brochures / printed material, sales kits, video content, events and activations (sampling, demos, trade shows, etc). 
  • Collaborates with Product and Design on packaging development to deliver brand consistency and optimize shopper experience. 
  • Support, mentor and develop direct reports to ensure career growth and consistent learning while overseeing team performance. 
  • Manages Brand budget, including forecasting, management of PO and invoicing process as well as preparing a monthly budget tracker to monitor spending. 
  • Partners with global Brand counterparts in other regions to drive synergies and scale.

  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills that can manage internal/external partners with varying degrees of knowledge of digital marketing 
  • Strong business acumen, including financial/budget management skills. 
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills.

The base pay range for this position in Maryland is $75,800-$136,400 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
