Tremendous is profitable and growing without outside investors. Join us before the next international offsite!

Tremendous is the fast, free, flexible way to send bulk payouts to people in over 230 countries and regions. 20,000+ companies ranging from mom-and-pops to Google, MIT, and United Way have sent over $1 billion, saving 15 hours a month on average.

In both our product and our workplace, we’re intentional about making work more efficient, flexible, and fulfilling. Tremendous is a fully remote, high-documentation, low-meeting culture, which means more time for what matters in both your professional and personal life.

Our customers, who include marketers, researchers, HR teams, and nonprofits, rave about how quick and easy it is to use Tremendous — check the ratings on G2. Yet there’s a lot of complexity under the hood, including over 2,500 redemption options and plenty of banking infrastructure. This duality makes working here a fun challenge.

About the role

We’re building the foundation of a strong, design-led brand at Tremendous. As a Senior Brand Designer focused on web, you’ll sit on the Marketing team and report to the Art Director, working closely with partners across marketing, product design, and engineering to ensure our brand shows up with clarity, consistency, and craft across our website and web experiences.

This is a senior individual contributor role with a strong emphasis on execution and self-direction. You’ll be responsible for leading the visual design work for our marketing website and web design system, while collaborating cross-functionally to maintain alignment with our broader brand and product design systems.

You will

  • Lead the visual design execution for our marketing website and landing pages, from concept through final delivery

  • Design, evolve, and maintain our web design system in Figma, creating high-quality components, patterns, and layouts

  • Translate brand strategy, messaging, and complex concepts into clear, compelling web experiences

  • Partner closely with marketing to support campaigns, launches, and ongoing website improvements

  • Collaborate across the aisle with product designers and engineers to maintain consistency between the web design system and product design system

  • Work with engineers or external dev partners to support high-quality implementation of your designs

  • Manage your own projects end-to-end, incorporating feedback while maintaining a high bar for craft

You have

  • 5+ years experience building visual brand at tech companies

  • A strong portfolio showcasing website and digital-first design work

  • Deep expertise in typography, layout, hierarchy, and composition for the web

  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including component systems and design libraries

  • Experience contributing to or maintaining design systems

  • Strong critical thinking and visual storytelling skills

  • The ability to work autonomously while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners

  • Strong written communication skills in a documentation-first environment

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite

  • Illustration skills (vector, UI illustration)

  • Motion design skills are a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field is not required if experience and portfolio demonstrate strong craft

What’s cool about the role

  • You’ll have significant responsibility and autonomy over high-impact web design work

  • You’ll work at a company growing quickly yet sustainably—we’re profitable with plenty of runway ahead

  • Competitive pay, equity, and benefits. The base salary for this role is $90,000–$125,000.

  • We’re a remote company, with collaboration hours centered around US time zones

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
