  • Have a proven track record as a brand or content copywriter with experience crafting copy that builds culture and drives growth.

  • Have a portfolio of work that you can share and describe in detail.

  • Can take complex ideas and make them simple, human, and emotionally resonant.

  • Know how to flex between storytelling, product copy, and social content.

  • Are fluent in digital culture you know what captures attention across web, email, and social media.

  • Have experience writing for wellness, performance, or lifestyle brands (bonus if you live that lifestyle).

  • Move fast, give clear feedback, and can ship high-quality work without getting stuck in perfectionist wormholes.

  • Are able to collaborate visually with designers and strategists, rather than simply handing off text.

  • Are obsessed with clarity, persuasion, and brand voice consistency.

  • Are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup where procedures are not clearly defined.

  • Do the writing yourself and don’t outsource to someone on Upwork, etc.

What you'll do:
  • Write clear, compelling copy for the Rythm brand across digital and physical touchpoints.

  • Develop and refine Rythm’s voice, tone, and messaging architecture from web to product to campaigns.

  • Create emotionally intelligent copy that inspires action without sounding clinical or corporate.

  • Conceptualize and script creative campaigns, brand videos, and social storytelling moments.

  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to create cohesive content that’s visually and verbally aligned.

  • Write email, ad, and landing page copy that converts and is grounded in insight and data.

  • Support thought leadership, blog content, and ambassador storytelling.

  • Audit existing materials and elevate language to a higher brand standard.

Hiring process:
  1. 30-minute intro call with Kelsie (Co-Founder & Lead Designer); chat about Rythm, the role, and your goals.

  2. 2-hour take-home project, i.e. write a short campaign or product copy brief.

  3. 30-minute call to meet Robby (Co-Founder & CEO).

  4. Reference checks.
