We're seeking an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our growing team and take ownership of building out our APIs and AI agents.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend architecture to support AI automation-driven workflows.
- Build efficient, reusable, and secure APIs (RESTful) to integrate frontend applications and AI-driven services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers and AI/ML experts, to implement server-driven logic.
- Champion backend development best practices, including CI/CD, logging, and monitoring.
- Stay ahead of backend technology trends to ensure our systems remain cutting-edge.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues to maintain reliable and performant systems.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in backend development using Django or similar frameworks at scale.
- Experience building AI agents using Langgraph (Langchain) or similar frameworks
- A proactive mindset with a bias for action—someone who takes initiative, solves problems, and delivers results.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Bonus: Startup experience or experience working with small businesses
