The Role
We are seeking a brilliant engineer to help accelerate the build out of our client-facing content marketing platform. The candidate will be working closely with our teams to design and implement new systems, maintain operations of the production systems and to coordinate work across all the initiatives of the Engineering team. The candidate will operate in a distributed architecture building the infrastructure to manage Big Data and solve complex algorithmic problems. Will deliver initiatives that drive revenue and improve efficiency in line with our business strategy. Will maintain in-depth knowledge of the organization's technologies and architectures. Will develop and enforce best practices for master data management and development. The ideal candidate is a passionate developer with significant experience in designing and building complex systems. Capable of providing extraordinary output in terms of quantity and quality.
Responsibilities
- Autonomously deliver key new features for our back-end systems
- Improve performance, scalability, maintainability, and flexibility of our back-end systems
- Deliver code in an agile team environment
- Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development
- Participate in development life cycle activities - design, code, test and release
Requirements:
- 6+ years’ experience in Java
- Experience leading software engineering teams
- Experience creating complex projects, regarding architecture and development
- Ability to work independently and with teams
- Extensive experience with Service Oriented Architectures
- Solid experience with SQL and noSQL database solutions
- Experience on tools like Spark, Kafka, and Clickhouse
- Familiarity with AWS and Docker
- Strong analytical skills
