About the team:
Capco’s Data Team helps our clients transform every aspect of their business. We are highly skilled at formulating data strategy, defining business and technology initiatives across the data management lifecycle, and aligning multi-year strategic roadmaps with client’s business goals. As digital technologies advance and regulations tighten, today’s consumers – and, therefore, today’s businesses – are becoming more aware of the importance of good quality data. We work to establish holistic ways to effectively manage data through the modern data supply chain and facilitate consumption through analytics, modelling, AI, machine learning, dashboarding, and reporting.
About the Job:
The Senior Azure Fabric and Databricks Cloud Engineer will play a lead role in designing, implementing, and operationalizing modern cloud-based data platforms built on Microsoft Azure and Fabric. This position supports both business development and project delivery by providing deep technical expertise in Azure Fabric, Databricks, and SQL environments, and by rapidly prototyping data solutions that demonstrate value to prospective clients. The engineer will design and deliver production-ready data platforms that enable cross-system integration, analytics, and reporting for clients in nonprofit, education, and workforce development sectors.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Solution Design & Delivery

- Implement structured data ingestion workflows for Excel and PDF inputs using Azure Form Recognizer, Power Automate, and Fabric dataflows.
- Ensure designs align with Microsoft best practices for governance, performance, and security.
Business Development & Prototyping
- Develop and demonstrate rapid prototypes showcasing Azure Fabric and Databricks capabilities to prospective clients.
- Contribute to technical sections of proposals and solution demonstrations during RFP responses and client presentations.
- Partner with architects and delivery leads to translate client requirements into proof-of-concept environments.
- Provide pre-sales technical consultation and architecture design support for new engagements.
Operationalization & Optimization
- Configure and tune Databricks clusters, pipelines, and workloads for cost and performance efficiency.
- Set up CI/CD pipelines for data assets using Azure DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM or Terraform).
- Establish change tracking, data lineage, and audit mechanisms to support compliance and historical reporting.
- Create deployment documentation, architecture diagrams, and handover materials for delivery teams.
