What to expect:
AWS Partnership Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement a comprehensive co-sell strategy that aligns with both AWS and 1Password’s business goals. Use proven best practices to ensure consistent engagement and alignment with AWS field sales teams, business units, and technical teams, ultimately driving revenue growth for 1Password through the AWS partnership.Revenue Growth & Sales Enablement
Lead joint marketing and sales efforts with AWS to create and capitalize on new business opportunities. Drive revenue growth through identifying sales opportunities between 1Password and AWS. Support sales teams through enablement initiatives, providing training, content, and resources to enhance their ability to position 1Password effectively within AWS opportunities.Incentives & Partner Programs
Work closely with AWS partner and field incentive programs to identify the best opportunities for 1Password’s growth. Identify, engage with, and adhere to relevant AWS partner programs to secure strategic benefits and align efforts across sales and marketing teams.Relationship Building & Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key AWS sales stakeholders, including AWS sales leaders, solution architects, and technical partners. Act as the primary liaison for your segment between 1Password and AWS, ensuring alignment and mutual success. Develop trusted relationships with internal stakeholders at 1Password to ensure seamless coordination across sales, marketing, and product teams.Performance Tracking & Reporting
Provide accurate pipeline tracking, reporting and forecasting using salesforce Provide regular updates and actionable insights to the Leadership team to ensure ongoing optimization of the partnership strategy. Ensure AWS related opportunities are tracked, and proactively drive account teams to manage them to completion.Conflict Resolution & Issue Management
Address and resolve any conflicts, obstacles, or issues that arise between AWS and 1Password to ensure a smooth, productive, and mutually beneficial relationship. Act as the problem solver and key point of contact for any challenges that may hinder the success of joint initiatives.Training & Enablement
Deliver training programs and resources that empower 1Password’s sales teams to effectively position and sell with AWS. Ensure sales teams are equipped with the necessary tools, resources, and knowledge to identify and win AWS-focused opportunities.Market Awareness & Strategy
Stay current on industry trends, AWS innovations, and emerging marketplace dynamics. Provide thought leadership and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders based on market intelligence, competitive analysis, and AWS’s evolving offerings.
What we're looking for:
Experience with AWS Ecosystem
7 years of experience of partnerships and sales experience with direct experience working with AWS, a strong understanding of AWS partner programs, incentive structures, and the AWS marketplace ecosystem. A demonstrated ability to work closely with AWS field teams and sales leaders to drive growth.Sales & Relationship Management
Proven success in driving sales through channel partnerships, co-selling, and joint go-to-market strategies. Strong track record of establishing trust and building collaborative relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including AWS teams.Communication & Presentation Skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling C-level presentations and engage with executive leadership across both AWS and 1Password. Ability to effectively articulate complex concepts and business value in a simple, persuasive manner.Analytical & Organizational Skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to track and measure partnership success, analyze key metrics, and adapt strategies based on performance. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.Self-Motivated & Independent
Highly independent, self-motivated, and proactive with a strong drive to seek out new opportunities, overcome challenges, and deliver results. Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of partnership growth.SaaS Experience Preferred
Experience working in a SaaS environment, particularly in partnership or alliance roles, is highly preferred. Familiarity with the nuances of selling software solutions through AWS and similar platforms is a strong asset.
USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $151,000 USD and $205,000 USD, and is commission-eligible. This role is also immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $142,000 CAD and $192,000 CAD and is commission-eligible. This role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.

Our approach to work
We recognize the power of both in person collaboration and remote work. Some roles are designated as remote-first, with an expectation that individuals work from their homes majority of the time, while others are designated as in-office roles, with an expectation of being on-site on a regular basis. We recognize that certain roles benefit from regular, in-person connection to support collaboration, team cohesion, and customer engagement.
For all roles, occasional travel may be required. This includes things like: department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events are typically held in varying locations across Canada, USA and/or EMEA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.
Note: All go-to market roles will have an in-person onboarding in Toronto.
