The Senior Automation QA Engineer will document and execute test plans, perform regression testing, report defects, and collaborate with teams to maintain quality standards and optimize testing cycles.
We are looking for a skilled and driven Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our growing team.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- Experience testing with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Databricks and similar data warehouses
- Strong knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and MS Excel
- Experience working with Cloud technologies
- Comfortable working with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes and GitHub
- Able to work with Linux OS, doing API and CLI based testing
- Prior experience with Jira, Confluence, and Google Workspaces
- Automation skills highly desirable, but not required
- Back-end engines testing experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Playwriting
Responsibilities:
- Document and execute comprehensive test plans for AtScale products ensuring functional requirements are being met
- Perform regression testing against each release to ensure our product continues to meet high levels of quality
- Identify and report any software defects and issues clearly
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to ensure quality standards are met and issues addressed effectively
- Setup and maintain testing environments that mimic AtScale’s customers’ environments
- Assist with automation of test cases where possible to optimize regression test cycles
