  • Define and track metrics for automation coverage, test reliability, release confidence, and defect detection
  • Lead test strategy for AWS-hosted services and production-readiness validation
  • Drive defect triage and root cause analysis using logs, telemetry, and observability tools
  • Improve test environment setup, service mocking, test data management, and reporting
  • Establish automation standards and best practices across engineering teams
  • Mentor engineers and promote high-quality, maintainable test code

What You BringExperience & Technical Depth

  • Strong experience testing cloud-native platforms, distributed systems, microservices, and APIs
  • Proven success building or scaling automation frameworks from the ground up
  • Strong programming skills in Python; experience with Java or C++ is a plus
  • Experience with integration, system, regression, performance, load, and scale testing
  • Strong debugging, defect triage, and root cause analysis skills

    • Jenkins
    • GitHub Actions
    • GitLab CI
  • Strong understanding of pipeline orchestration, automation reliability, and release quality gates
  • Ability to define and use quality KPIs to improve engineering decisions and release confidence
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Ability to lead across cross-functional teams and influence cloud quality strategy
  • Strong communication skills with both technical teams and leadership
  • Passion for raising the quality bar through scalable automation and engineering discipline
Why This Role Matters
  • Direct impact on the reliability and scalability of Bose’s connected cloud platforms
