You’ll collaborate closely with the Staff Automation Engineer and technical stakeholders to build high-quality automations and intelligent agent workflows across systems like ServiceNow, Atlassian, Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, knowledge management tools, and cloud environments such as GCP and AWS.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building, problem solving, working with modern automation and AI tools, and growing toward deeper technical leadership responsibilities.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain automation workflows across key enterprise platforms, including ServiceNow, Atlassian, Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, knowledge management systems, and cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Implement Agentic AI and LLM-powered workflows using tools like Workato, Flow Designer, Zapier, Moveworks, and models such as ChatGPT or Gemini.
- Build AI-driven chatbots or intelligent agents that automate tasks, support conversational workflows, and integrate with enterprise applications.
- Develop integrations using REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and scripting languages (JavaScript, Python).
- Follow established automation and AI standards for quality, security, and governance; provide improvements where appropriate.
- Apply RBAC and least-privilege patterns in automation design.
- Partner with IT, Security, GRC, Procurement, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize existing workflows to improve stability and performance.
- Document designs, workflows, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team-based learning to uplift engineering quality and consistency.
What You’ll Need
- 4+ years of experience in automation engineering, systems integration, or workflow development.
- Experience with automation platforms such as Workato, Flow Designer, Zapier, or Moveworks.
- Experience building workflows and integrations in ServiceNow and/or Atlassian.
- Experience developing LLM-powered automations, conversational interfaces, or AI assistants.
- Strong skills in REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, JavaScript, and Python.
- Familiarity with identity systems (Okta, SCIM) and RBAC concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Ability to break down problems, collaborate cross-functionally, and deliver solutions with moderate guidance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate functional requirements into technical outputs.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, Workato Copilot).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or version-controlled automation assets.
- Experience with SaaS license automation or analytics workflows.
- Experience supporting or contributing to automation best practices or documentation.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
