We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Transfer Pricing team, offering the opportunity to influence client business decisions, engage directly with senior practitioners, and build deep commercial and economic expertise within a collaborative and flexible team culture.
This position is hybrid. This position can be located in Boston, Chicago, or New York office.
Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day efforts on client engagements involving the development and delivery of innovative transfer pricing strategies which address a broad spectrum of economic issues
Support audit defense and controversy matters, including information requests, responses, and analytics
Support project managers in conducting functional interviews across business, operational, R&D, and commercial teams to validate facts and decision‑making
Build and review financial and economic models (Excel‑based; advanced tools a plus)
Draft professional, client‑ready deliverables that clearly tie facts, economics, and tax positions together
Assist in the development and implementation of transfer pricing policies and intercompany pricing models for large multinational enterprises
Review intercompany legal agreements to ensure consistency with transfer pricing policies and delineation of economic risks between related parties
Contribute to AI-enabled process improvements and automation of routine transfer pricing documentation
Work directly with senior leaders and clients on complex engagements
Mentor junior staff and contribute to team culture and knowledge sharing
Essential traits:
3+ years of experience in transfer pricing, international tax, or related field (e.g., Economics, Valuation, Financial Analysis)
Strong analytical skills
Ability to formulate defensible, economically sound transfer pricing positions around a given set of facts for a business' value chain and global operating structure
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Interest in developing advisory and client‑facing skills
Strong command of Microsoft Excel / modelling
Demonstrated experience developing and mentoring staff
Certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Business, Finance, or Accounting) would be a plus
