As a Senior Associate of Trade Operations, you'll be on the front lines of a bold new category where speed, accuracy, and operational rigor define the customer experience. At DraftKings, we're launching prediction markets at scale, and you'll play a vital role in keeping them fair, functional, and future-ready. Whether you're resolving trade discrepancies, tracking market activity, or refining workflows, your attention to detail and drive for precision will keep the action moving.
What you'll do as a Senior Associate, Trade Operations
  • Monitor inbound customer orders and assist with resolving trade breaks, rejects, or settlement discrepancies.
  • Run intraday checks for unusual price movements, trading volumes, or potential rule violations, escalating when needed.
  • Reconcile daily positions, cash, and fees across internal ledgers and external clearing systems.
  • Prepare end-of-day operational reports that include metrics like fill rates, latency, and error rates.
  • Collaborate across teams Product, Compliance, Engineering, and Customer Support-to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
  • Help identify workflow issues or recurring problems that could benefit from process changes or automation.
  • Contribute to keeping operational playbooks accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready
  • Support rotational coverage during early morning or evening market hours.

What you'll bring
  • At least 2 years of experience in trade operations, middle office, or customer trade support at an exchange, broker, or fintech company.
  • Foundational knowledge of trade lifecycles, including order processing, clearing, settlement, or reconciliation.
  • Experience using Excel; familiarity with SQL or BI tools is a plus
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, especially when translating technical issues for non-technical teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and accountability when working with sensitive or time-critical data.
  • Flexibility to support rotating shifts during live market coverage windows
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-moving, highly regulated space.
  • Interest in event prediction markets, sports trading, or financial markets.

We're a publicly traded (NASDAQ: DKNG) technology company headquartered in Boston. The US base salary range for this full-time position is 76,000.00 USD - 95,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
