What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
  • Be responsible for the design, development and execution of in vitro experiments to generate decision making data for portfolio programs.
  • Become an integral member of research project biology teams where you will be responsible for recommending options for in vitro experimentation, generation of high-quality in vitro pharmacology data and report results and conclusions at project team meetings.
  • Design develop and execute in vitro experiments to assess the potency and efficacy of molecules.
  • Utilize single and multicolor flow cytometry to assess affinity and potency of molecules.
  • Perform single and multiplexed MSD/conventional ELISA experiments to quantify cellular cytokine release.
  • Work with whole blood and perform isolation and differentiation of cell subsets.
  • Independently perform data analysis and present results at project meetings.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
  • Bachelor's degree in Immunology or Pharmacology with
    3+ years experience performing in vitro based experiments in a Pharma/Biotech lab environment.
  • Previous experience in generating and analyzing single and multicolor flow cytometry data.
  • Experience with MSD & ELISA experimentation.
  • Experience in plate-based experimentation and serial dilutions of large and small molecules.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental in vitro pharmacology parameters and how to design and execute plate-based experiments to quantify them.
  • Confidence in troubleshooting experimental/assay challenges.
  • Good sterile techniques for culture and maintenance to primary and immortalized cell lines.
  • Competent user of Excel, GraphPad Prism and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation of results.

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
  • Prior experience in working with both large and small molecule therapeutic modalities.
  • Experience in drug discovery processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $68,600.00 to $110,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
