The Senior Associate will drive growth for Felix's remittance corridors, analyzing performance metrics, conducting market research, and collaborating across teams to enhance strategic initiatives.
About Us
At Félix, we're building the financial ecosystem for Latin immigrants in the U.S., starting with a revolution in remittances. Our core product is an AI-powered chatbot built on WhatsApp, allowing our users to send money home as easily as sending a text message. We leverage cutting-edge technology like AI, blockchain, and stablecoins to make cross-border payments faster, more affordable, and more accessible than ever before.
We are a hyper-growth Series B company, backed by over $100 million in funding from top-tier global investors, including QED, Castle Island, Switch Ventures, HTwenty, Monashees, and General Catalyst Customer Value Fund. This isn't just about the numbers; it's a testament to the trust our investors have in our vision and our team. Additionally, Félix was selected as an “Endeavour Entrepreneur” and was a recipient of the CrossTech Fintech Startups Award. We are a group of extremely talented and dedicated high-performers, united by our shared obsession with a single goal: empowering our customers. We are all owners of Félix, driven by a bias for action and a true experimentation spirit to get shit done with urgency and focus.
Joining Félix means you will be part of a team building a legacy, a company that will outlive us all. This is a rare opportunity to apply your skills to a deeply meaningful mission—serving a community that has been underserved for too long. We are a team that is fiercely loyal to each other, where radical transparency and constructive feedback are how we grow and push for excellence. We are bold, we care less about what others are doing, and more about creating sustainable value and a product that truly makes our users' lives better. We are building the future, today.
About the Role
The team you would be joining is responsible for driving the growth and performance of Felix’s US to Colombia & Dominican Republic remittance corridors. We oversee market strategy, pricing, partnerships, user growth, and operational performance across these key markets.
As our Associate | Regional Strategy & Operations, you will work directly with the General Manager (COL/DR) to monitor performance, surface key insights, and support strategic initiatives that improve unit economics, growth & retention metrics. This role combines analytical rigor with operational impact—you will build the dashboards, conduct the research, and support the cross-functional initiatives that help us scale effectively. Your work will directly strengthen the GM’s ability to make faster, data-driven decisions as we expand our footprint.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor Performance: Build and maintain dashboards tracking financial and operational metrics. Lead weekly/monthly reviews to identify trends in growth, retention, and unit economics.
- Turn Data into Action: Analyze datasets to identify performance drivers. Build analytical models to evaluate growth initiatives, pricing changes, and operational trade-offs, translating them into clear recommendations for leadership.
- Support Strategic & Market Analysis: Conduct industry and competitor research to inform our positioning. Support the development of business cases and analytical frameworks for new initiatives.
- Enable Cross-functional Execution: Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, Risk, and Ops to diagnose issues and help define KPIs that improve visibility into corridor health.
- Contribute to User Insights: Analyze behavior, funnel performance, and qualitative feedback, translating them into recommendations for the product and growth teams.
Example Problems You Might Work On
- Why is conversion lower for first-time senders in specific corridors, and what product/pricing changes could fix it?
- Which U.S. cities represent the highest opportunity for new sender acquisition?
- How does our pricing compare to competitors, and where can we improve competitiveness while maintaining margin?
- How should we evaluate the impact of launching new payout methods, partners, or infrastructure?
What Success Looks Like
- First 90 days: Develop a deep understanding of corridor economics and user behavior; establish a clear reporting cadence with core dashboards.
- Within 6 months: Become a trusted analytical partner to the GM, delivering market and competitor insights that influence regional strategy.
- Within 12 months: Proactively identify and quantify new opportunities to improve unit economics and support key strategic business cases.
Who You Are
- Experience: 5+ years in Strategy, Business Operations, Analytics, Management Consulting, or Investment Banking.
- Analytical Powerhouse: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills are a must; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar) is highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Ability to thrive in fast-moving environments where problems are not always perfectly defined.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to explain what the numbers mean and influence decisions.
- Presentation: Advanced in building presentations in PowerPoint, Notion, and Google Docs
- Languages: Professional fluency in English and Spanish is required.
- Nice to Have: Proficiency in SQL or Python; experience in the Fintech or Remittance industry.
- These are the applicable requisites, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary
- Initial stock options grant
- Annual performance bonus
- Health, dental, and vision plans
- Remote work environment, although we have offices in Miami and México City and would love to work in hybrid model if you are up to it.
- Continuous learning opportunities
- Unlimited PTO
- Paid parental leave
- Empowering opportunities for growth in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
