At Eventbrite, we believe nothing feels better than finding your people and connecting over your shared passions IRL. Our mission is to bring the world together through live experiences — and we live that mission every day. Last year, our marketplace powered more than 4 million events hosted by a vibrant and diverse global community of organizers.

As we evolve our brand and business, we’re investing in creative leaders who can push our storytelling into bold new territory. We’re looking for a Senior Art Director to help shape the visual identity of Eventbrite, lead breakthrough campaigns, and bring our brand to life across every touchpoint from social and product to OOH and culture-driving activations.

This is a unique opportunity to influence the next chapter of a beloved brand, working alongside a multidisciplinary creative team that values craft, curiosity, and cultural relevance.

THE ROLE

As a Senior Art Director at Eventbrite, you’ll concept and lead creative work across brand campaigns, marketing initiatives, product launches, and cultural moments. You’ll partner closely with a writer and strategist to turn insights into big ideas — and ideas into beautifully executed storytelling across channels.

This role requires strong conceptual chops, a sharp design eye, and the ability to lead cross-functional creative efforts from start to finish. You’re a systems thinker and a hands-on maker. You love building narratives as much as building decks. And you thrive on shaping the creative process just as much as the output.

You’ll report to the Head of Brand Marketing and play a key leadership role within the Creative Studio team.

YOU WILL
  • Concept and execute brand campaigns, activations, and launches that build emotional connection and drive brand momentum
  • Partner with a copywriter to generate and shape campaign ideas, bringing Eventbrite’s brand voice and visual identity to life
  • Craft creative across formats including digital, social, film, email, product surfaces, OOH, experiential, and new channels
  • Translate strategic insights into narrative-led creative platforms and storytelling systems
  • Mentor and guide a small team of designers, elevating the craft and conceptual quality of the work
  • Present ideas to stakeholders and senior leaders with clarity and conviction, building consensus and creative alignment
  • Ensure all creative aligns with Eventbrite’s brand standards, quality expectations, and strategic objectives
  • Collaborate across disciplines including growth, social, product marketing, and community to build campaigns that perform across the funnel
  • Use AI and emerging tools as creative accelerators to spark ideas, expand execution, and keep pace with cultural shifts
YOU HAVE
  • 8+ years of experience in brand, campaign, or art direction roles within in-house teams or creative agencies
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required
  • A portfolio that shows concept-driven thinking, refined art direction, and compelling visual storytelling across platforms
  • Experience leading campaigns from insight to execution — with fluency in both digital and traditional media
  • Strong design fundamentals, with mastery of composition, typography, layout, and motion
  • Experience mentoring or directing designers, illustrators, animators, or content creators
  • Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; working knowledge of motion tools a plus
  • Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools like Firefly, Runway, Midjourney, or ChatGPT as part of your ideation or execution process
  • A culture-first mindset and a passion for live experiences, community, and creative connection

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
