To be clear, we are not looking for a prompt expert, we are looking for a designer.
Have a proven track record in motion design, visual effects, and animation editing.
Have a portfolio of work that you can share and describe in detail.
Have experience crafting edits for brand films, product launches, and social storytelling that feel cinematic and modern.
Can collaborate with designers and creative leads to bring static concepts to life through motion.
Are detail-obsessed but can move fast, revise quickly, and ship high-quality work under tight timelines.
Are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup where procedures are not clearly defined.
Do the work yourself and don’t outsource to someone on Upwork, etc.
Edit and animate Rythm’s visual assets from brand videos and product explainers to social content and experiential footage.
Create seamless visual transitions, kinetic type, and motion that bring the Rythm brand to life across every channel.
Develop and maintain a cohesive visual motion language that aligns with our brand aesthetic and design system.
Partner with the design and marketing teams to plan and execute creative storytelling moments that feel premium and emotionally impactful.
Integrate sound design, pacing, and rhythm to elevate every frame and ensure each edit feels alive and intentional.
Conceptualize and storyboard short-form and long-form content, bringing creative direction to life with clarity and precision.
Optimize video content for multiple formats (web, social, paid ads, events) while maintaining consistency and quality.
Push creative boundaries by experimenting with VFX, animation, and compositing techniques that make Rythm stand out visually.
30-minute intro call with Kelsie (Co-Founder & Lead Designer); chat about Rythm, the role, and your goals.
2-hour take-home project, i.e. edit or animate a short Rythm concept
30-minute call to meet Robby (Co-Founder & CEO).
