Job Description

Position Overview

The Senior Analyst, Treasury will assist with the development and execution of cash management banking across all business segments of the company, supporting the ever-growing pipeline of development projects and supporting Invenergy’s cash forecasting process. This position will be in our Chicago headquarters

Responsibilities
  • Oversee short-term liquidity requirements and coordinate with teams responsible for longer-term forecasts.

  • Oversee and fund Invenergy’s corporate cash accounts, including balance monitoring, overdraft tracking, and oversight of sweep structures .

  • Review and execute / entry of Treasury initiated payments.

  • Assist with the maintenance of Invenergy’s bank account requirements

    • Domestic & International account openings and closures;

    • Lead the transition of accounts through sales, acquisitions & divestitures.

  • Execute short-term borrowing & investments.

  • Oversee and execute of foreign currency transactions.

  • Support collateral requirements, including execution and tracking of Letters of Credit & Surety Bonds.

  • Assist with relationship management and oversee banking relationships & services.

  • Maintain and recommend improvements to cash management operations and security protocols.

  • Automate monthly bank fee processes.

  • Spearhead improvements to the Treasury Management System (GTreasury) to lead the way for building out this tool across the organization.

  • Take an active role in continuous improvement in Treasury’s processes and documentation efforts.

  • Provide mentorship and promote information sharing within and across groups.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant Treasury/Finance work experience, including internships.
  • Strong computer skills, including above average proficiency in Excel.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certified Treasury Professional designation is a plus
  • Experience with Power BI is a plus
  • Team player – ability to coordinate productively across departments to achieve company-wide goals.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines & while working autonomously.
  • Demonstrated ability to think innovatively to identify new approaches to existing processes.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Quick thinker and creative problem solver.
  • Attention to details is important.

Base Pay

70,000.00 - 92,000.00 USD Annual

Bonus: 15%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
 
In addition to base pay, the total annual compensation package may also include eligibility to participate in our bonus program(s) which are designed to reward individual and company performance. Your recruiter can share more about bonus eligibility for this position during the hiring process.
