Job Description:

The Team

Fidelity’s Global Security and Investigations (GSI) Business Unit is undergoing several technology and process modernization initiatives leveraging ServiceNow as the case management and process support platform. This role is a key position on the Global Security Program Management team, within GSI, supporting the implementation and ongoing support of ServiceNow scope applications for Fidelity’s new global Background Investigation case management cloud-based platform; and Fidelity’s modernized Internal Investigations and Threat Management case management systems.

The Role

In this role, you will be a member of the GSI Security Technology Program Management team and will be responsible for working across business and technology teams to deliver modernized and optimized systems that support Fidelity Investigators and partner teams including Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Legal, Regulatory and Compliance.

The role requires demonstrated experience and a high level of expertise in process optimization, data analytics, and project management. It requires the organizational, social and business savvy to work across various organization in a highly effective and collaborative manner to identify and deliver business requirements.

The role must have a solid working knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices. The detailed use cases and stories written by this role will ensure accurate and timely execution of the vision articulated by the Product Lead / Owner. Your interactions with the business and technology teams will model Fidelity leadership principles to sustain an agile, innovative culture that creates a positive environment for all team members.

The Expertise You Have

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience required
  • 3-4 years confirmed, relevant experience in product or systems development
  • Experience and knowledge in human relations, talent acquisition operations, candidate onboarding, background investigations / vetting and / or security operations preferred
  • JIRA and Agile tools related experience preferred
  • A minimum of 1-2 years Business / Systems Analyst experience
  • Experience with requirements definition and testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Experience in a fast paced, agile environment
  • Experience in analyzing, mapping and improving process flows
  • Experience in basic project / program management
  • Experience in data collection, organization and analysis
  • Experience in navigation complex organizations seamlessly and effectively
  • Preferred experience in the following ServiceNow related areas:
  • Workflow configuration
  • Portal and collaborative solution implementations
  • Creating properties, business rules, and client scripts

The Purpose of Your Role

The Business Analyst will on a team that:

  • Facilitates process reviews and redesigns
  • Preps, oversees and leads complex programs / project plans
  • Identifies data requirements, collects data and organizes data for in-depth analysis and recommendations

The role is critical to the success of the GSI Background Vetting Next Generation Modernization work and will have the opportunity to work on future GSI technology projects.

The role will facilitate the process design, requirements, organizational change, testing, and delivery of GSI Background Vetting processes, future Service Now projects and system enhancements while representing partner interests. The position will also work across many different Fidelity teams and learn Fidelity’s new HR cloud-based technology.

The Value You Deliver

You will:

  • Partner with the Product Lead / Owner to understand the expected outcomes for the product
  • Research current state experiences and existing functionality to identify required changes
  • Define detailed use cases and detailed stories for the IT team
  • Collaborate strategically with the QA and UAT testing teams on test plan reviews and aids and act as a mentor to those teams by providing story requirements and acceptance criteria clarifications
  • Work with key business partners to ensure delivery meets their expectations
  • Perform root cause analysis when issues arise before and after code migrations
  • Research and implement solutions to incidents and requests
  • Update standards and procedures documentation as required
  • Demonstrate your thorough understanding of business processes and system processes to make recommendations and propose technical/non-technical solutions to meet business requirements
  • Build trust and demonstrate solid working relationships with key business partners
  • Seek opportunities to proactively provide valuable insights and look for continuous improvement opportunities with our business partners.
  • Provide ongoing platform / product oversight and configuration support
