Position Summary
We are expanding the ACA risk adjustment analytics team to support provider enablement activities. This Sr Analyst, Informatics position will serve as a subject matter expert on ACA Risk Adjustment intervention and will be responsible for recommending strategy and providing analysis support for risk adjustment activities.

  • Understand the risk adjustment concept (HCC, risk score, etc.) and utilize Health Care data (medical claim, RX, EMR) from multiple sources
  • Use SAS/SQL to extract and process data from large data warehouse
  • Build statistical models to solve business problems
  • Recommend business strategy to support risk adjustment operation
  • Proficiency to build automated process/batch jobs
  • Present and communicate with client from tech/non-tech background

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of data processing/analysis experience
  • 2+ years of SAS, SQL and other DB language experience
  • 1+ years of Python experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Cloud technologies (GCP/AWS) is preferred
  • Basic understanding of statistical models is preferred.
  • Prior domain knowledge/experience of healthcare industry, EMR (Nice to have)

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. Master’s degree preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $122,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
