The Opportunity:
The Senior Business Analytics Analyst is part of a small team that is responsible for creating data models and developing, testing, and deploying dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, and Excel. This position will use business data and statistical methods from various sources to provide insight into business performance and suggest areas for, and methods of, improving operations. It is also responsible for the development and maintenance of extension objects and applications, and visualizations. This role requires extensive experience in business intelligence application scripting and works directly with the ETL team to generate files to load data into data models and applications.
Day in the Life:
Develop, maintain, enhance, support, and integrate business intelligence deliverables and applications.
Design, create, and optimize data models and intuitive data visualizations while ensuring data accuracy.
Manage installation, configuration, and infrastructure of the Qlik platform and partner with an external Qlik support partner to resolve complex support issues when they arise.
Develop and maintain a solid understanding of our business, systems, and strategic objectives, and translate needs into business intelligence and analytic solutions.
Define and implement best practice methodologies and procedures in data visualization and information design, and governance.
Develop and maintain queries and reports using the reporting tool to provide customized data.
Document requirements and create reports and visualizations for more complex reporting needs.
Provide evaluations and recommendations for software upgrades, plug-in products, and interfaces, and identify and implement platform improvements.
Work with users, functional leaders, and subject matter experts to understand the current and future data analysis goals and architect solutions to meet those goals.
Provide Level 2 support for our report developers.
Lead and participate in enterprise-wide performance management dashboarding initiatives.
Lead and/or participate in cross-functional projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or quantitative field such as information systems, statistics, economics, or finance, required, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Masters degree is preferred. Six Sigma or Lean certification preferred.
Five (5) years' experience working with business intelligence applications, creating visualizations, and building dashboards and prototypes to meet the needs of users required.
Five (5) years of experience in data analysis and reporting required, including the use and knowledge of relational databases, and building and managing complex Excel models.
Experience with Qlik scripting and reporting required.
Experience writing complex SQL queries and working with relational databases required.
Data Warehouse and Data Modeling experience preferred. Knowledge and use of project management principles, including Agile, preferred.
Knowledge of macros, set analysis, and all charts and graph types
Solid requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and debugging skills
Knowledge and understanding of organizational change management
Excellent problem-solving, resolution, and analytical skills.
Strong business/client engagement and delivery skills
Ability to facilitate workshops and focus groups
Knowledge of process reengineering, Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement approaches
Ability to optimize data loads and applications for efficient performance
Minimal travel may be required

Pay Equity
$84,900.00 - $108,200.00Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
