About the Role
This is a high-impact individual contributor role where you'll work directly on the product and alongside stakeholders across the company. We move fast, we build things that matter, and we use Claude every single day to do it better. If you're scrappy, hungry to grow, and want to see your work make a real difference in how people access healthcare, this is the place.
**MUST BE BASED IN CALIFORNIA**
What You'll Do
- Build and ship full-stack features with full ownership from design through deployment
- Integrate AI tools and LLM APIs into product workflows where they add real value
- Write clean, well-tested, production-grade code with a high bar for quality
- Partner with product, design, and stakeholders across the business to get things done
- Help raise the engineering bar through code reviews, technical discussion, and better defaults
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of production systems
- Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript
- Habitual, fluent use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc.) as part of your daily workflow
- Solid fundamentals: system design, testing, debugging, and code review
- Comfortable owning cloud deployments, preferably on AWS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated environments is a plus
