AI is a core component of video games used to tell an engaging and exciting story through gameplay. We are looking for a passionate Senior AI Engineer who wants to push the boundaries of AI in video games for our forthcoming AAA title. This Senior AI Engineer will build believable AI behaviors, as well as the architect and maintain the systems which support AI characters in the world. You will work alongside designers to craft these AI systems and will play a meaningful role in driving the innovation of our AI. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Break down features, building plans and assessing dependencies.  
  • Work with the production team and engineering leadership to schedule those plans.  
  • Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to provide holistic solutions. 
  • Own features, and small-scale systems, driving them to meet the needs of those holistic solutions.  
  • Architect, implement, and maintain production quality C/C++ for systems, features, tools, and workflows.  
  • Analyze different approaches to solve problems and discuss the tradeoffs between them.  
  • Write and maintain documentation related to features, tools, and workflows.  

Requirements & Skills: 

  • Unreal Engine experience is a must.
  • Solid experience with C++. 
  • Strong math skills. 
  • Worked on at least one AAA game or equivalent complexity.  
  • Experience with machine learning. 

Qualities: 

  • Good communication skills visually, verbally and written. 
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.  
  • Ability to resolve conflicts.  

TNM considers a number of factors when determining each role's base pay range, including industry benchmarks, location, experience, and other job specific skills. In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for other incentive compensation including equity and profit share. The estimated base pay range for this role is U.S. only and not applicable for locations outside of the U.S.

The estimated base pay range for this role is: $159,000 - $199,000
