We’re building the next phase of the finance function at Nineteen Group – Americas, and we’re looking for a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to help lead it.
As the U.S. division of Nineteen Group, we are rapidly expanding our portfolio of industry-leading events and media brands across the United States. Our finance team is evolving alongside that growth, and this role will play a central part in strengthening and scaling our accounting operations.
This is an opportunity to own key pieces of the multi-entity close process, partner closely with finance leadership, and help shape how accounting operates as the business continues to grow.
What You’ll Do
- Own and drive key components of the multi-entity month-end close process
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Strengthen and standardize accounting processes across entities
- Support improvements in financial systems and reporting workflows
- Partner with finance leadership on reporting, budgeting, and analysis
- Support audit and tax workstreams as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 4–8+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes
- Experience working across multiple entities or business units
- Strong reconciliation and financial reporting skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms
- ERP exposure preferred
- Experience in high-growth, acquisition-driven, or private equity-backed environments is a plus.
