Steadily is one of the fastest-growing insurtech companies in the U.S., and we’re hiring a Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting & Analysis to join our high-performing Finance team. If you're excited about rolling up your sleeves in a dynamic, high-growth environment and want your work to directly influence company strategy, this role is for you.

Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, you’ll be a key player in scaling our operations, guiding leadership with data-backed insights, and ensuring financial excellence as we expand into new markets and launch new products.

What You’ll Do:

  • Be a Strategic Advisor: Partner with leadership to deliver financial insights that drive critical decisions across the business.

  • Own the Close: Lead month-end close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.

  • Drive Operational Excellence: Improve and manage accounting processes related to premium accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

  • Fuel Our Growth: Build scalable systems and processes to support our expansion into new states and product lines.

  • Champion Accuracy & Compliance: Support external audits and ensure GAAP-compliant reporting across the board.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

  • 4+ years in public accounting or at a scaling startup

  • Expertise in GAAP and strong command of the full close process

  • Advanced Excel skills and strong data acumen

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus

  • Bonus: Familiarity with P&C insurance or financial services

Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation $110k - $125k salary + equity in the company

  • 3 weeks PTO plus six federal holidays

  • Health insurance including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, HSA, FSA
