We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Account Manager - Large & Complex.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible to lead service and retention of assigned accounts with designated Producers. This role requires a moderate degree of independent discretion and decision-making based on industry knowledge and experience. Incumbent will provide guidance and service to clients, by developing professional and collaborative relationships with carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and HUB colleagues.
Ideal candidate will have experience servicing large middle market accounts. Primary responsibilities include:
- Effectively manage a book of large clients with a minimum book size of $1M in revenue
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure that all service needs are met
- Work collaboratively with designated producers, Marketing, and other HUB colleagues
- Review and analyze accounts for coverage, limits, and make appropriate recommendations
- Review all applications, policies, endorsements and audits for accuracy
- Complete loss/claim analysis and summaries
- Handle renewals, service requests, claims, billing, certificates, and new policies
- Prepare client proposals based on clients’ needs, rates, and coverages
- Maintain the accuracy of data in the agency management system
- Keep informed of changes and trends within the industry for the purpose of anticipating and responding to project objectives
- Maintain an understanding of the markets and their appetites, submitting and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years insurance brokerage or property casualty insurance experience in an account management or underwriting role preferred;
- Experience with real estate accounts preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills;
- Strong data entry skills;
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with others
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products & internet utilization
- Applied Agency Management System experience preferred but not required
- Currently licensed in good standing
