Fluxx is looking for a highly motivated Senior Account Executive to join the Go to Market team. In the role of Senior Account Executive - Gov and Public Sector, your primary focus will be to identify and develop strategic relationships with potential Government and Public Sector customers. You will work with the Solution Center, Marketing, Product, and Leadership teams to build a strong pipeline of new Government and Public Sector customers. You will drive both the pipeline building and closing process of sales opportunities and identify growth opportunities using a consultative methodology. You are an experienced sales professional with at least 5 years experience selling into State / Local Government and Public Sector accounts who thrives in a team environment who is looking to work in a SaaS sales environment as part of a purpose-driven organization.

This is a full time exempt and remote position. Candidates must be located in the United States. 

How you will make an impact/what you will do:

  • Win new logo revenue (ARR) within Government and Public Sector accounts according to the business plan and on a consistent Quarterly and Annual basis
  • You will generate and maintain a consistent, accurate, and balanced pipeline of opportunities in assigned territory and guide prospects through the sales cycle to close (see detail section below)
  • Lead all aspects of the sales process within your assigned territory of accounts
  • Interact with potential partners, industry groups, and other key external stakeholders as well as understand and evaluate business opportunities, you will develop, modify and execute on business development opportunities.
  • Attend industry events as directed by GTM Leadership
  • Achieve/exceed individual revenue goals/quota on a consistent Quarterly and Annual basis
  • Collaborate with internal teams (i.e. Solution Center, RevOps, Finance, Marketing, Product) to drive sales strategy, solution development, proposal delivery, and implementation.
  • Maintain product familiarity 

How success will be measured:

  • Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) - meet/exceed quota/goals
  • ABX Activity - build and execute on campaigns to “high tier” Government and Public Sector accounts to drive interest in Fluxx and, ultimately pipeline
  • ABX - Opportunities created (and ARR from “Closed Won” opps)
  • Pipeline movement/velocity - GTM Playbook process adherence
  • Advocacy - ensuring customers who commit to advocacy during sales cycle follow through and provide this valuable input to the Fluxx GTM engine
  • Data Hygiene - systems of record kept up to date in line with role expectations (defined above)  
  • Product Training & Certification - End-user, standard admin, and advanced admin modules completed and current in Fluxx University; Grantelligence training completed and current; Up-to-date with product enhancements, features, and roadmap

What you bring to the team:

  • At least 5 years experience as a top-performing Account Executive in Government and Public Sector SaaS sales (State & Local)
  • Experience building and managing a sales pipeline and driving complex, multi-stakeholder deals to closure
  • Ability to organize to a broad geographic territory, developing and executing a strategic plan with vertical focus and identification and prioritization of target accounts.
  • Deep knowledge of Government and Public Sector (State and Local)  essential
  • 20-30% travel required

Salary:

The expected annual base salary for this role is $110,000-$125,000K. This position is eligible for target-based commissions. The base pay range is subject to change in the future. 

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on, but not limited to (a) location; (b) individual candidate skills and qualifications; and (c) individual candidate experience. 

Fluxx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. We take a market-based approach to pay which may vary depending on your location. Locations are categorized into one of three zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic location and our compensation philosophy.
