At Jaris, we’re redefining how financial services are delivered by building the modern infrastructure that powers embedded finance for platforms, processors, ISOs, and banks. Our platform streamlines everything from merchant onboarding and underwriting to bank account provisioning, compliance, and money movement — enabling our partners to launch financial products quickly and scale them confidently. By delivering the full stack of enablement tools and value-added financial services, we help our partners unlock new revenue streams and deliver better experiences to their customers. As we expand our impact, we're looking for curious, driven people who want to help modernize the financial ecosystem and support the small businesses that power the economy.

About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to drive top-of-funnel growth in embedded finance. Reporting to the VP Partnerships, you'll work to identify, evaluate, and close partnerships through a consultative approach, engaging legal, risk, and business leaders. Travel for partner meetings and industry events as needed.

You’ll also align closely with Marketing and other teams to accelerate deals, streamline outreach, and grow the pipeline. A proven track record in enterprise sales, strong C-level communication, and a tenacious yet collaborative mindset are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of Jaris’ products and combine that knowledge with domain expertise to develop new partnership opportunities.
  • Accountable for the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation through discovery, proposal, negotiation, and closed/won, with handoff for integration and ongoing account management.
  • Work closely with Marketing and the VP Partnerships to optimize and align outbound Sales-Marketing efforts to maximize pipeline growth.
  • Strategize, recommend, and execute tactics to optimize the commercial strategy.
  • Assess appropriate type of partnership for lead qualification and the unique risks and mitigating controls for each partnership.
  • Contribute to the go-to-market plan and Sales strategy.
  • In-depth use of key tools such as SalesForce, Slack, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and more to ensure we are building growth with processes and tools at scale.
  • Build thought leadership on embedded digital financial service and payments, speaking at industry leading events.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in selling payments and banking solutions to ISO/ISVs.
  • Proven track record of thriving in a high growth commercial role and achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing, startup environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and results-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical and time management skills.
  • Strategic thinker, comfortable transforming abstract ideas into a plan of action.

Applicants can expect an annual base compensation in the range of $105,000 to $155,000 USD plus uncapped incentive. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Jaris and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.

Additional  benefits include:

  • Company equity
  • 401(k) plan with a corporate match
  • Employee Assistance Program through Optum
  • Commuter benefits
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits (PPO/HMO/HDHP options)
  • Health & Financial Wellness through a Partnership with Calm, Insperity & MSA (My Secure Advantage)
  • Care Giver Support Program
  • Flexible PTO

At Jaris, our corporate culture is based on integrity, respect, collaboration, and transparency, which guide all aspects of our business. As an international company, we combine a diversity of cultures and invest in each individual to provide opportunities for growth and impact.

We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to providing a positive interview experience for every candidate. If accommodations due to a disability or medical condition are needed, connect with us via email at [email protected].

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
