Job Title: Senior Account Executive, Enterprise- Local Government

Location:. US Remote - Ideally SE US (Georgia, Florida)

What You Will Do

  • You will primarily sell Trimble Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) comprising the solutions for Enterprise Asset Management (AgileAssets/Cityworks), Digital Project Delivery (e-Builder), and our other software offerings to local government agencies.

  • Create strategic territory and account plans.

  • Manage sales efforts in your territory.

  • Prospect, develop and track new opportunities toward closure.

  • Call on decision makers at targeted organizations.

  • Upsell and Cross-sell our products into existing accounts.

  • Develop strong business relationships with business partners.

  • Become proficient at presenting ALM Solutions, and other Trimble technology.

​What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • 10+ years in Sales or Business Development within the GovTech space.

  • Solid knowledge of the AECO industry and local government workflows, maintenance and operations, permitting and planning, construction projects and digital project delivery, and so forth. 

  • Experience in selling and negotiating with local Agencies.  Competitive knowledge of the following are preferred: AEC Solutions from Autodesk or Bentley; Trimble Survey and Mapping technology; Esri ArcGIS®; Salesforce CRM; PMIS; Asset Management and Permitting; and local Government   

  • Effective time management, decision making, analytical, and problem solving capabilities. 

  • A high level of ethics, professionalism, and confidence.

  • Excellent customer service skills with a can-do attitude and an extremely strong drive.

  • A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to conduct product demonstrations.

  • Ability to  travel approximately 25-50% of the time within your region meeting with potential customers. Occasional travel outside of your region to support trade shows or attend company meetings.

Compensation:  This position is compensated by a combination of base salary plus commission earnings. Trimble provides the following compensation range and a general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.

  • Hiring Range: 200k-250k Base Salary + Commission

  • Pay Rate Type: Salary + Commission
