At Colibri Group, culture is at the heart of everything we do. Our values: Love, Joy, Boldness, Teamwork, and Curiosity guide how we work together, support our customers, and make a difference in the communities we serve!

Colibri Healthcare provides professional education and workforce solutions for nurses, nurse practitioners, allied health professionals, and other healthcare learners. Our programs help people prepare for important career milestones, maintain credentials, and continue growing throughout their careers.

As we expand, our direct to consumer business, we are organizing marketing around the audiences we serve. Each customer segment has a leader who understands that audience, sets the strategy, and brings the right teams together to grow the business.

About the Role

The Segment Marketing Lead will be the marketing leader for our Nurse Practitioner audience. You will help more Nurse Practitioners discover, choose, and continue engaging with Colibri Healthcare's education products.

You will own the segment's marketing strategy and performance across the full customer journey. You will set priorities, guide a team, and partner with channel experts across paid media, CRM, content, creative, analytics, product, and operations. You will not be expected to personally execute every channel; your impact will come from knowing the customer, making clear decisions, and helping teams move together.

This role may be a strong fit if you are a B2C growth marketer who pairs customer empathy with data, can turn insight into a focused plan, and enjoys leading people through change. You are comfortable moving between big-picture strategy and the details needed to make the work real.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the marketing strategy for the Nurse Practitioner segment, connecting customer needs and business goals across awareness, acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Build a deep understanding of the Nurse Practitioner audience by combining customer research, market and competitive trends, campaign performance, and direct feedback
  • Translate insights into clear positioning, messaging, offers, campaigns, and lifecycle programs that feel relevant to Nurse Practitioners and support measurable growth
  • Lead integrated, full-funnel plans with channel owners and agency partners across paid search, paid social, CRM and email, SEO, organic social, direct mail, and emerging channels
  • Use acquisition, conversion, engagement, retention, revenue, and return on marketing investment data to prioritize opportunities, guide testing, and improve performance
  • Lead and develop a team of marketing managers and coordinators while creating alignment across Product, Brand, Analytics, Creative, Operations, channel teams, and business leadership

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of B2C marketing experience, including a strong track record leading integrated, multi-channel growth programs
  • Experience owning the strategy for a defined customer audience, segment, product line, or business area and being accountable for measurable results
  • Strong understanding of digital acquisition and lifecycle marketing, with the ability to guide specialists and agencies without needing to be the hands on operator in every platform
  • Comfort using customer research, funnel data, testing results, and financial or performance metrics to make decisions and prioritize investments
  • Experience managing and developing people, setting clear priorities, and creating accountability while supporting growth and learning
  • Strong communication and cross-functional influence, including the ability to translate strategy into practical action in a matrixed environment
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, healthcare administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience in healthcare, education, professional certification, or another regulated industry is helpful but not required
  • Tools & Technologies

You do not need to be the day to day operator in every platform, but familiarity with the following will help you partner effectively with channel and analytics teams:

  • Paid search and paid social platforms, including Google Ads and Meta Ads
  • CRM, email marketing, and marketing automation platforms
  • Web analytics, reporting dashboards, and funnel performance tools
  • SEO, audience research, experimentation, and testing tools

Compensation and Work Arrangement

This is a remote, full-time, exempt position. Actual compensation and bonus will be based on experience, skills, location, and other job related factors.

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Own a clearly defined customer audience and see the connection between your strategy and meaningful acquisition, engagement, and retention outcomes
  • Help shape a growing segment-led marketing model and build practices that can scale across Colibri Healthcare
  • Lead a team while partnering with experts across channels, product, analytics, creative, and operations rather than working in isolation
  • Support healthcare professionals at important moments in their careers through education designed to help them grow and succeed
  • We Encourage You to Apply

You may not check every preferred box, and that is okay. If you have led B2C growth work, care deeply about understanding customers, and know how to help teams turn insight into action, we would love to hear from you. We value different career paths, experiences, and perspectives, and we encourage you to apply if this opportunity feels like a meaningful next step.

Our Commitment to Inclusion

Colibri Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
