Job Description
Job Summary:
Ignite your passion for product management and innovation by joining a dynamic team focused on Intraday Liquidity and Credit risk within Securities Services, primarily within the Custody business. As an Associate, you will support the development and implementation of product strategies to manage credit risk, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our product offerings and solutions.
You will be part of the Intraday Liquidity and Custody Credit Product team, a dedicated group responsible for managing Credit risk and intraday liquidity across Securities Services. The team is committed to developing innovative platforms and controls that enhance our ability to manage risk effectively and improve efficiency and client experience.
Job Responsibilities

  • Join a London-based team responsible for global management of Custody Credit risk across Securities Services.
  • Design and optimize the Credit operating model for the business, including the identification and implementation of key Credit risk metrics, targeting a reduction in Credit risk while enhancing product value for clients.
  • Shape the strategic vision for managing Custody-related Credit risk and management of intraday liquidity from a product perspective.
  • Collaborate with various Product leads to identify and address potential Credit control gaps and integrate Credit risk considerations into the Product lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the intraday liquidity offering and develop and implement solutions throughout the product delivery lifecycle.
  • Partner with key stakeholders including 2LoD Credit organization, policy teams, and legal to ensure a cohesive approach to product risk management.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of intraday liquidity usage, developing reporting and analytics to assess impact and drive product-related business decisions.
  • Leverage data to provide insights on portfolio or thematic trends and set action plans to address product challenges.
  • Develop solutions to address client requirements and new product developments.
  • Work with the Product Development team to oversee system/product changes.


Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in either a Product or Credit risk function, or related functional support teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of custody services and credit risk principles.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to quickly broker solutions and resolve conflict situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Recognized thought leader within a related field.
  • Experience in securities services or a related financial services field
