- Key Responsibilities
- We are seeking a proactive and experienced Scrum Master to lead agile delivery for our mobile application development teams. You will be responsible for facilitating agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring the team adheres to agile principles and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mobile development lifecycles and experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Act as a servant leader and coach to the mobile development team, promoting self-organization and accountability.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized product backlog.
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress.
- Track and report on team velocity, burndown charts, and other agile metrics.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
- Ensure alignment between mobile frontend, backend, QA, and DevOps teams.
- Support the team in meeting release goals, especially for App Store and Play Store deployments.
- Work with stakeholders to manage dependencies, risks, and cross-team coordination.
- Promote agile best practices and contribute to the organization’s agile maturity.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably in mobile app development environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including mobile developers, QA, designers, and product managers.
- Familiarity with mobile development lifecycles, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes.
- Proficiency in agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM I/II, or equivalent agile certifications.
- Experience with Scaled Agile Frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) is a plus.
- Exposure to mobile analytics, crash reporting, and user feedback loops.
- Background in software development or QA is a plus.
- Experience in remote or distributed team environments.
