Hitachi Energy is looking for a CAPEX Project Engineer to join our Supply Chain Management (SCM) team remotely, with a home base in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you’ll drive strategic capital investment projects, collaborate across departments, and help optimize operations through innovation and smart planning.

How you'll make an impact
Lead and support SCM CAPEX processes across North America.
Ensure capital investments align with budget and strategic goals.
Manage investment approvals and business case development.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal experts to ensure quality and safety.
Drive regional and factory-level CAPEX projects to completion.
Develop and maintain tools for spend tracking and forecasting.
Promote standardization across factories and teams.
Stay ahead of industry trends and foster innovation.
Your background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
2+ years of experience in process engineering or CAPEX in manufacturing.
Strong project management and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Excel and digital technologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
