Job Description
The Kraft Heinz Company is looking for Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Officer who supports the development, commercialization, and maintenance of compliant food products by assisting with regulatory reviews, scientific research, and documentation activities.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and organize regulatory database, dossiers, and compliance records
  • Support the preparation, review, and maintenance of regulatory documentation (ex. product specification, ingredient line, nutrition fact, label claims, and other label information)
  • Conduct preliminary regulatory assessments for new ingredients, additives, processing aids under supervision
  • Assist in artwork review by verifying the label information of allergen declarations, ingredient lists, and nutrition, etc.
  • Perform data entry, tracking, and reporting tasks
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams like R&D, Quality, Marketing, and Legal to finalize the compliance projects in a timely manner

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Biotechnology, or Food Science
  • 0 -1 years of experience
  • Fluent in English & Arabic
  • Basic understanding of food regulations and standards
  • Introductory knowledge of food additive regulation
  • Some familiarity of label declarations
  • Detail Oriented
  • Clear written communication and effective verbal communication
  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills
