This role will partner closely with business stakeholders (primarily Ops, Finance, and Sales) to define and deliver IT solutions within the North American Business Unit. Primarily working within SAP O2C/SD and EDI integrations, this position collaborates with global solution architects, Offshore IT teams, and 3PL partners, to ensure high-quality, timely solution delivery. This person will also assist in managing the completion of omnichannel solutions beyond SAP, but that are still integral to business operations.
Areas of Responsibilities
• Works with business stakeholders to define requirements and capture business needs for Sales and Commerce functions within the company
• Works with the Global Solution Architects and external partners to implement solutions within the O2C / SD module of SAP and EDI integrations
• Steer and coordinate offshore IT team (functional consultants and software developer), follow up on time, quality & efficiency of solution execution.
• Responsible for Application Maintenance and Services in O2C area and handholding business users to ensure uninterrupted business operations
• Assesses the risks of various solutions and prioritizes competing business demands in close cooperation with peers
• Present solutions and estimates to IT Leadership, Business Process Owner and Service Owners in order to gain approval for realization
• Supports UAT to validate the solution towards the acceptance criteria
• Ensures adherence to IT processes as well as policies, principles and guidelines
Required Education / Qualification
• Master or Bachelor Degree in Business, Technology or Science
• Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in SAP consulting or Competence Centers within SD Module of SAP
• Strong analytical and logical skills. Able to independently construct or modify business processes or working methodologies
• SAP consulting experience within SAP SD and integration touch points with other related modules like finance, procurement and logistics
• Solid business process knowledge and understanding of the business drivers. Ability to map and re-engineer business processes, and push solution from design to go-live.
• Experience in the planning and execution of logistics integrations with 3PL
• Profound understanding of EDI integration of various external business partners, procure to pay processes, and general master data concepts.
• Fluent in English, both verbally, written and in willigness to interact in international environment.
• Strong Business and Improvement focus. The ability to analyse and drive change / improvement
• Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills coupled with self confidence.
