Job Description: 

We are looking for a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Architect. You will be responsible for designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions that align with the needs of our organization. This role demands deep technical excellence and understanding of the Salesforce platform, and an ability to design robust, scalable solutions, integrating Salesforce with other technologies.

 Basic Requirements: 

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation. 
  • Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States. 
  • Must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years. 
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, IT, or related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Salesforce architecture, with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, including its capabilities, limitations, and latest updates.

Additional Qualifications: 

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent Salesforce certification is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes using the Salesforce platform. 
  • Understanding of Generative and Agentic AI is a huge plus. Must know how to build and support highly scalable and reliable solutions using Agentforce.
  • Experience using Salesforce AppExchange and add-on solutions such as Copado, AppOmni and Checkmarx.
  • Expert knowledge of Salesforce.com, including functional knowledge of Sales, Service, Experience Cloud and other core Clouds.
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Flows and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they pertain to Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated experience in Salesforce architecture with focus on Security, Identity and Access Management, Deployments & Release Management, Data Architecture, Integration with other systems and use of Middleware Solutions. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other stakeholders (both internal and external) to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the architecture and design for Salesforce solutions, ensuring they align with enterprise architecture standards and principles, leveraging standard platform capabilities, and minimizing customizations.
  • Architect scalable single- and multi-org Salesforce strategies to support managed services, including scenarios involving org consolidation to optimize performance, governance, and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business, product, and IT teams, to develop a comprehensive view of customer’s organization's strategy, processes, and information technology assets.
  • Establish and evolve Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE) best practices including reusable assets, architectural patterns, and governance models.
  • Lead enterprise release management processes using Copado including environment strategy, pipeline configuration, compliance gating, and test automation.
  • Work closely with QA and operations teams to implement automation test strategies (e.g., Robotic Testing via Copado).
  • Collaborate with security stakeholders and ISSOs to support Authority to Operate (ATO), leveraging tools such as Checkmarx, AppOmni, and Shield Event Monitoring.
  • Lead architecture discussions in Program Increment (PI) planning, governance forums, and strategy sessions.
  • Oversee Identity Management (IDM) and SSO configurations leveraging OKTA and SAML.
  • Perform technical health assessments, org performance reviews, license optimization, and capacity planning as part of ongoing managed service delivery.
